What’s included in each maintenance visit?

Each visit includes a full cleaning and inspection of your equipment. We check exhaust vents, inspect for gas and condensate leaks, clean components like the flame sensor, adjust gas pressure, test airflow and blower performance, and replace your filter. For air conditioners, we also clean the coil and outdoor unit and check refrigerant levels.

How often are services scheduled?

Maintenance is typically scheduled once or twice per year, depending on your equipment. Furnace service is completed in the fall, and air conditioning service is done in the spring.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, there is no contract. You can cancel your membership at any time.

Are there additional fees?

No additional fees apply unless a repair is needed. In that case, labor and any non-warranty parts are billed separately.

What systems are covered?

The program covers air conditioners, furnaces, hot water tanks, on-demand water heaters, HRVs, humidifiers, and garage heaters.

Is a filter included?

Yes, your membership includes filters. This may be one accordion-style filter, one 4-inch filter, or four 1-inch filters, depending on your system.

How is the Advantage + Program different from calling for service when something breaks?

The program keeps you ahead of problems instead of reacting to them. You receive regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns, priority service, no call-out or diagnostic fees, and discounted repairs.

Do I still pay for repairs?

The call-out fee is waived. Labor is billed at $110 per hour, and parts may be additional depending on warranty coverage.

Is it worth joining if I have a newer system?

Yes. Even newer systems require regular maintenance to stay efficient, maintain warranty coverage, and prevent small issues from becoming costly repairs.

Thanks JDK for our furnace repair. Our furnace went out Saturday morning on the coldest day of the year. We tried a few different companies in Edmonton. JDK was the only one to answer and gave an approximate time they would be. They kept us updated with arrival times and were on time. Very professional and honest up front what the repairs would cost. They were able to repair our furnace quickly and get the heat back on in the low -30s weather which was very much appreciated!

With the great service we will be using JDK for our hvac upgrades in the near future.
